Union Minister G Kishan Reddy Visits Chengicherla Village, Assures Support to Tribal Victims

Telangana, India – Union Minister G Kishan Reddy visited Chengicherla village in Telangana yesterday, following a violent incident that saw members of two different communities clash over the issue of playing loud music near a religious place.

The incident, which occurred late at night, involved stone-pelting and resulted in several tribal victims, including women. The Union Minister took to Twitter to condemn the attack, which he attributed to a “fanatic communal mafia.”

In his tweet, Reddy stated, “I strongly condemn the midnight attack by the fanatic communal mafia on Tribals including women at Changicharla village in Ghatkesar, Telangana yesterday.”

During his visit, Reddy spoke to the victims and assured them of his full support. He promised immediate medical treatment for those injured in the incident and assistance in providing food.

“I visited the village and spoke to the victims, assured my full support in immediate medical treatment and in providing food,” he tweeted.

Reddy also called upon the authorities to take swift action against those responsible for the violence. He urged them to “immediately book the culprits, take stringent action and let the rule of law prevail.”

The incident has sparked concerns about communal tensions in the area. The Union Minister’s visit and his assurances to the victims are seen as a significant step towards addressing these concerns and ensuring justice for the victims.
