TELANGANA – Union Home Minister Amit Shah made a powerful statement at the Social Media Warriors Meet held in Secunderabad, Telangana. He highlighted the commitment of his party to the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, a promise that was prominently featured on the first page of their manifesto.
“For 500 years, devotees across the country have yearned for a grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya. We promised to make Ramlalla ‘virajman’ there with due respect, and we have fulfilled that promise,” Shah said.
He criticized the Congress party for its handling of the Ram Temple issue over the past 70 years. According to Shah, the Congress party indulged in ‘atkaana, bhatkaana, latkaana’ (delaying, misleading, and hanging) the construction of the temple.
Shah further accused the Congress party of boycotting the Pran Pratishtha ceremony under the greed for ‘vote bank’. “Under the greed for ‘vote bank’, the Congress even boycotted the Pran Pratishtha ceremony,” he added.
The Union Home Minister’s remarks come at a time when the construction of the Ram Temple has been a topic of national interest. His comments are likely to stir further discussions on the role of political parties in religious matters.
