Telangana BJP President Alleges Corruption and Extortion in Revanth Reddy Government

Hyderabad, Telangana: Telangana BJP President N. Ramchander Rao on Thursday accused ministers of the Revanth Reddy-led government of indulging in corruption and internal conflicts, claiming that the state’s law and order machinery has failed to check illegal activities.

Addressing the media, Rao said, “The ministers of the Revanth Reddy government are making allegations against each other. Huge extortions have been done by the ministers and their people. The extortion, which is being reported in the newspapers at gunpoint, is a serious issue in Telangana and highlights the failure of law and order in the state.”

The BJP leader also criticized the Congress party, asserting that the ongoing controversies have exposed the party’s governance. He further alleged that the Congress candidate from the Jubilee Hills constituency has multiple cases of extortion registered against him, questioning the credibility of the party’s electoral candidates.

Rao’s remarks come amid rising political tensions in Telangana, with opposition parties increasingly highlighting alleged corruption, mismanagement, and administrative lapses within the state government.

He urged authorities to take strict action against those involved in illegal extortion activities and called for greater transparency and accountability in governance.
