Telangana BJP Chief G Kishan Reddy Responds to Election Commission Violation Case

BJP Chief G Kishan Reddy has responded to the case filed against him and other party leaders for allegedly violating Election Commission guidelines during the election campaign.

Reddy stated, “To counter the case registered for sharing a morphed video of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Telangana Police filed this wrong case on the complaint of the Congress Party.” He further explained the circumstances that led to the alleged violation.

According to Reddy, the incident occurred when children in the audience began crying for their absent father. “The children who were there in the audience were screaming a lot because their father was not there, they were crying for their father. So we called them on stage and handed them over to their father,” Reddy explained.

He emphasized that thousands of people present at the spot were aware of the actual events. Reddy’s statement suggests that he believes the case to be a retaliatory move by the police, instigated by a complaint from the Congress Party.

The case has sparked a heated debate about the conduct of political parties during election campaigns. As the situation unfolds, it remains to be seen how the Election Commission will respond to Reddy’s claims.
