South Central Railway Introduces Festival Special Trains to Manage Holiday Travel Surge

Hyderabad – As the festive season approaches, South Central Railway has announced a series of special trains to manage the expected influx of passengers during Dasara, Diwali, and Chhat festivals. To address the increased demand, the railway authorities will operate two special trains connecting Secunderabad and Malda Town.

Starting October 8, Train No. 03430 will run from Malda Town to Secunderabad every Tuesday, making a total of eight trips until November 26. On the return route, Train No. 03429 will operate from Secunderabad to Malda Town every Thursday, with a similar schedule of eight trips from October 10 to November 28.

These special trains are part of the South Central Railway’s efforts to alleviate travel congestion and provide additional options for passengers during this peak travel period. The initiative is expected to offer a more comfortable and convenient journey for those heading to their hometowns or traveling for festival celebrations.

Passengers are encouraged to book their tickets early to secure their travel plans and avoid last-minute hassles. The South Central Railway remains dedicated to ensuring a smooth travel experience for all its customers during the busy festive season.
