Prime Minister Modi Wraps Up Meditation Retreat at Vivekananda Rock Memorial

Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu – Prime Minister Narendra Modi has concluded his two-day meditation retreat at the historic Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. The retreat, which began on Saturday, ended on Sunday evening.

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) confirmed that PM Modi spent the two days in solitude, meditating and reflecting on various matters. This retreat comes amidst a busy political climate in the country.

The Vivekananda Rock Memorial, where the Prime Minister chose to meditate, is a revered monument dedicated to Swami Vivekananda, who is believed to have attained enlightenment on this rock. The memorial, built in 1970, stands as a symbol of unity and peace.

The PMO clarified that the Prime Minister’s visit to the memorial was a private one, aimed at spending some time in solitude for self-reflection. PM Modi, a known proponent of meditation, has often emphasized its importance and has been seen practicing it at various public events.

The Prime Minister’s two-day meditation retreat at the Vivekananda Rock Memorial has garnered attention from all corners. While some see it as a personal endeavor of the Prime Minister towards self-improvement, others interpret it as a gesture promoting the importance of mental health and inner peace.

The meditation retreat concluded peacefully on Sunday evening, and the Prime Minister is expected to resume his official duties from Monday.
