PM Modi Questions Congress’s Stance on Ayodhya Ram Temple

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a recent public address, expressed his concerns over the Congress party’s silence on the issue of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He stated that the Congress has issued an advisory to all its units, directing them to maintain silence on the subject.

PM Modi remarked, “Unko lagne laga hai ki agar Ram ka naam liya pata nahi kab Ram-Ram ho jaye,” indicating that the Congress party seems to be avoiding discussions on the Ram Temple issue.

The Ram Temple in Ayodhya has been a long-standing issue in Indian politics. The site, believed by many to be the birthplace of Lord Ram, has been a focal point for several political parties, including the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which is led by PM Modi.

PM Modi’s comments come at a time when the construction of the Ram Temple is ongoing, following a historic judgment by the Supreme Court of India in November 2019. The court ruled in favor of building a temple at the disputed site and also ordered the allocation of a suitable plot of land for the construction of a mosque.

The Congress party has not yet responded to PM Modi’s comments. Their silence on the issue, as highlighted by PM Modi, has led to questions about their stance on the Ram Temple issue.

As the discussion around the Ram Temple continues to evolve, it will be intriguing to see how the Congress party responds to PM Modi’s comments and the impact it will have on the political dynamics in the country.
