PM Modi Criticizes Opposition’s Campaign in Amroha Rally: Highlights Religious Insults

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a gathering in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, voiced strong criticism against the tactics employed by opposition parties during their election campaign.

PM Modi likened the opposition’s campaign to a rejected movie, implying that it lacked appeal to the public. He accused them of engaging in practices like favoritism towards family members, corruption, and trying to win votes by pandering to certain groups.

Furthermore, PM Modi highlighted instances where the opposition allegedly insulted people’s religious beliefs. He cited an incident where a Congress candidate had difficulty expressing support for a patriotic slogan, ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’.

The Prime Minister also denounced the absence of opposition leaders during the inauguration of a temple in Ayodhya, suggesting a lack of respect for Hindu sentiments. He criticized the opposition’s attitude towards the celebration of Hindu festivals, such as Ram Navami, accusing them of disrespecting devotees of Lord Ram.

PM Modi’s remarks underscored the tense political atmosphere ahead of the upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh, emphasizing the importance of religious and cultural sensitivities in the electoral discourse.
