PM Modi Champions India’s Commitment to Development and Heritage Conservation at World Heritage Committee

Prime Minister Narendra Modi articulated India’s steadfast commitment to both development and heritage conservation during his keynote address at the inaugural event of the 46th Session of the World Heritage Committee. “India’s vision remains clear – ‘Vikas Bhi, Virasat Bhi.’ Over the past decade, India has achieved significant milestones in modern development while also pledging to honor and preserve its rich heritage,” PM Modi affirmed. He underscored the importance of striking a balance between progress and heritage conservation, which he described as integral to India’s identity and global standing.
