Phone Tapping Controversy in Telangana: BJP Spokesperson Calls for Investigation

The phone tapping issue in Telangana has taken a new turn with BJP spokesperson NV Subhash making serious allegations against some bureaucrats in the state. He claimed that these officials, particularly from the police department, tapped phones to curry favor with their former boss, K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR).

“Once the phone tapping was done, they started threatening the people for their involvement in some issues,” Subhash said. He further alleged that this was done to intimidate and control individuals who could potentially cause problems for KCR’s administration.

In light of these allegations, Subhash has called for an independent investigation into the matter. He urged the current Chief Minister of Telangana, Revanth Reddy, to take immediate action.

“Telangana CM Revanth Reddy should appoint a judge or form a three-member commission to investigate these allegations,” Subhash stated. He believes that such a step would ensure a fair and impartial inquiry into the matter, which has caused much concern among the public.

The controversy has sparked a debate about the misuse of power and the need for checks and balances in the system. It remains to be seen how the Telangana government will respond to these allegations and what steps will be taken to address this issue.
