Controversy Surrounds BJP Candidate Kompella Madhavi Latha in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD – Kompella Madhavi Latha, the BJP candidate from the Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency, has found herself in the midst of controversy. A video has surfaced showing Latha gesturing to shoot an arrow, allegedly in the direction of a mosque, sparking widespread criticism.

The incident occurred during a Ram Navmi procession near Siddiamber Bazaar Junction in old Hyderabad. Latha was seen riding an open-top vehicle during the rally, which was organised by BJP MLA T Raja Singh.

In an attempt to maintain communal harmony during the festivities, the mosque had been covered in white cloth. However, the gesture made by Latha, who is known for her work with Pasmanda Muslims and is contesting against AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, has raised eyebrows.

Latha has since taken to social media to issue an explanation for her actions, although the details of her statement are yet to be disclosed. The incident has stirred a heated debate in the political circles of Hyderabad, with many awaiting further clarification from the BJP candidate.

As the controversy unfolds, it remains to be seen how this incident will impact the political landscape of the Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency in the upcoming elections.
