BJP MP Dr. K. Laxman Slams MK Stalin’s Government, Predicts BJP’s Rise in Tamil Nadu and Telangana

Hyderabad, Telangana – Rajya Sabha MP and BJP OBC Morcha National President Dr. K. Laxman has sharply criticized the Tamil Nadu government led by Chief Minister MK Stalin, accusing it of being embroiled in corruption, particularly a liquor scam. Speaking about the political landscape in the South, Dr. Laxman emphasized the growing strength of the BJP in Tamil Nadu and Telangana, while highlighting the challenges faced by regional parties and the Congress.

“People are angry with the Tamil Nadu government that has been in power for the last 10 years under the leadership of MK Stalin—a government that is sunk in a liquor scam,” Dr. Laxman stated, referring to the controversies surrounding the state government. He pointed out that the BJP had made significant inroads in Tamil Nadu, receiving 11% of the vote share in the last election, signaling a rise in the party’s popularity in the state.

“The BJP is rising in Tamil Nadu; in the last election, the BJP alone got 11% votes. NDA is now becoming a strong force in the South,” he said, asserting that the BJP was a key player in southern Indian politics. Dr. Laxman also claimed that Congress and regional parties are struggling to compete against the BJP’s growing influence. “Congress or any other regional parties cannot face the BJP alone. They also fought against one another, but now they all had a meeting in Chennai as they are afraid of the BJP,” he added.

Dr. Laxman went on to express confidence that the public in Southern India is increasingly aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. “But the people in the South today are with PM Modi,” he said, underscoring the BJP’s expanding base across the region.

Reflecting on the BJP’s national presence, Dr. Laxman pointed out that the NDA government currently holds power in 21 states, and he confidently predicted that the party’s influence would soon extend to Telangana and Tamil Nadu. “NDA is there in power in 21 states, and soon we will be in power in Telangana and Tamil Nadu,” he concluded, signaling the BJP’s aspirations to strengthen its hold in these key states.

As the BJP continues to grow in the southern states, the political rivalry between regional parties, Congress, and the BJP is set to intensify in the coming elections. The party’s focus on increasing its presence in Tamil Nadu and Telangana will likely be a key factor in the political discourse in these states in the lead-up to future elections.
