Hyderabad, Telangana – BJP MP Dr K Laxman, in a recent statement, questioned the changing stance of Revanth Reddy, a prominent leader of the Congress party. He pointed out that Reddy initially referred to the upcoming Parliament election results as a referendum for his 100-day rule of the Congress Government in the state. However, Reddy has recently started alleging conspiracies against him and claimed that some people are rallying to isolate him.
Dr Laxman highlighted these statements as evidence of internal divisions within the Congress party. He cited the example of Hanumantha Rao, a Congress leader who claimed to face opposition within the party for supporting Reddy. Furthermore, Dr Laxman mentioned Feroz Khan, a recent Assembly election contestant from Congress, who stated that the party’s high command is now instructing them to ensure AIMIM’s victory against BJP.
According to Dr Laxman, these instances expose the internal differences and groups within the Congress party. He suggested that feeling insecure, Revanth Reddy has now started making statements to gain public sympathy.
Expressing confidence in BJP’s prospects in the upcoming elections, Dr Laxman said, “We are going to win these elections in Telangana…People want BJP to come to power in Telangana also…We are going to win more than double-digit in Telangana.” He further challenged Revanth Reddy to stand by his words regarding the elections being a referendum.
