BJP Leader N Ramchander Rao Criticizes Mamata Banerjee for Remarks During UK Visit

BJP leader N Ramchander Rao has strongly criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for her recent remarks made at a college in the United Kingdom during her visit. Rao stated that Indian leaders must show respect for their country while abroad, referring to Banerjee’s statements as detrimental to India’s image on the global stage.

“It is very important for Indian leaders to respect their country on foreign soil… Earlier, Rahul Gandhi did the same thing, and now Mamata Banerjee is also doing the same… She must understand that the world is questioning her love for the nation,” Rao said, calling out Banerjee’s behavior during her overseas trip.

Rao further accused the opposition party leaders, including Banerjee, of not acknowledging the progress India has made, asserting that such an attitude could be harmful to the nation’s reputation.

“This type of attitude shows that the leaders of the opposition party do not acknowledge the progress of India… People of Bengal are seeing this, and they will remove her from power and bring BJP into power in Bengal,” he added, projecting confidence in the BJP’s future prospects in West Bengal.

Rao’s statement comes amid growing political tensions between the BJP and opposition leaders, with the ruling party continuing to criticize the stance of opposition figures, particularly regarding their views on the national government’s policies and international representation.
