Hyderabad In a scathing statement, BJP leader CR Kesavan accused the Congress party of misleading the nation and its citizens regarding the issue of the Pro-term speaker in the Lok Sabha.
Kesavan highlighted the nomination of Bhartruhari Mahtab as the pro-term speaker. Mahtab, being the longest continuous serving member, has been entrusted with this crucial role. However, Kesavan questioned why the Congress party did not consider nominating Kodikunnil Suresh as its Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha. According to Kesavan, this decision amounts to discrimination against Suresh.
“The Congress party stands exposed before the nation,” Kesavan asserted, emphasizing the alleged bias in their actions.
