BJP MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy Criticises Rahul Gandhi Over Remarks in Colombia

BJP MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy strongly criticised Congress leader and Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi for his recent remarks made during a visit to Colombia. Reddy said it was unacceptable for an Indian politician to “go abroad and belittle India”, urging Gandhi to raise any grievances within the country rather than on international platforms.

He further stated that in the history of Indian politics, no leader had criticised the nation on foreign soil the way Rahul Gandhi has. Calling him a “disgrace,” Reddy alleged that “foreign forces or divisive forces in India” could be influencing Gandhi.

Mocking Gandhi’s comments about vehicle weights in Colombia, Reddy said, “I am an engineer. His logic on why a motorcycle in Colombia weighs 100 kgs and why a car weighs 3,000 kgs… this is the greatness of coke, cocaine and Colombia. Probably that is the influence he is under.”

The BJP MP concluded by asserting that Gandhi’s remarks reflect poorly on the Congress party and have no credibility in the eyes of the Indian public.
