Telangana BJP President N Ramchander Rao strongly criticised Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge for his recent remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, calling them “objectionable” and “out of touch with current politics.”
Responding to Kharge’s comments, Rao said, “Due to growing age and not understanding the current politics, Mallikarjun Kharge is making objectionable and even funny statements. He has forgotten that the Constitution was not safe in the hands of Congress. Let him first take medical treatment and then speak.”
Rao accused the Congress leadership of hypocrisy, asserting that the party has a history of undermining constitutional values while now attempting to question the BJP’s governance. He further stated that Kharge’s remarks reflect the frustration within the Congress over the BJP’s continued electoral successes under the leadership of PM Modi and Amit Shah.
The sharp rebuttal adds to the escalating political war of words between the BJP and Congress ahead of key electoral battles in Telangana and across the country.
