Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended a Sneh Milan (Friendship Meeting) at the residence of Union Minister C.R. Patil in New Delhi on Wednesday evening, a gathering that saw key leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) come together in a spirit of camaraderie and mutual support.
In addition to PM Modi, several high-profile figures from the BJP were present at the event, including Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President J.P. Nadda, Union Minister of Labour and Employment Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. The event also saw the participation of BJP leaders and legislators from Gujarat, who had traveled to the capital for the occasion.
Throughout the evening, PM Modi engaged with the guests, strolling through the gathering, conversing with party leaders, and fostering an atmosphere of unity. The Prime Minister also posed for a group photo with all the attendees, marking a moment of solidarity among the party’s top brass.
C.R. Patil, who holds the Jal Shakti Ministry portfolio and is also the BJP’s Gujarat Chief, played a central role in hosting the event. His position as a key party leader was underscored by the presence of several Gujarat-based BJP officials, reflecting the state’s influential role in the national political arena.
Though the Sneh Milan programme was an informal gathering, it provided an opportunity for party leaders to strengthen their personal and political connections ahead of future challenges. With elections on the horizon, the event served as a reminder of the BJP’s focus on internal cohesion and strategic unity.
