In a recent public rally held in Munger, Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his concerns over the Congress party’s proposed Inheritance Tax. He warned the public that the Congress party is eyeing their property.
Modi stated, “The Congress now has an evil eye on your property.” He elaborated that the Congress party intends to “survey the houses and land of farmers and implement Inheritance Tax.”
The Prime Minister also claimed that the Congress party is proposing a law that would hinder individuals from bequeathing their land and property to their offspring. “Congress has come up with such a law that you will not be able to give your land and property to your children,” he said.
Modi further alleged that the ‘Guru’ of the ‘Shehzade’, a term he frequently uses to refer to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, is planning to confiscate more than half of the people’s property if the Congress party comes to power.
He also pointed out the silence of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on this issue, saying, “During all this discussion, the RJD is silent because they also want to be a participant in its property and enjoy it.”
The proposed Inheritance Tax has become a contentious issue in the political sphere, with the BJP and its allies opposing the move. The Congress party, however, argues that the tax could be a significant revenue source for the government.
The public is eagerly awaiting further clarification from the Congress party regarding the specifics of the proposed Inheritance Tax and its potential implications for the common people.
